Validation meeting of the Training of Trainers Curriculum on Project Cycle Management

 

 

In the frame of the IOM Albania programme “Engage the Albanian Diaspora to the Social and Economic Development of Albania”, in partnership with the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA), on 8 June 2020 was held an on-line validation meeting for the development of a Training of Trainers (ToT) Curriculum on Project Cycle Management. The training, which will be delivered in the following months, is tailored and will serve the needs of Albanian public administration officials.  

In the validation meeting participated  17 representatives from beneficiary institutions: Albanian State Minister for Diaspora; Minister of State for Entrepreneurs; Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs; Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA); Albanian National Fund of Diaspora, National Diaspora Agency, Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber,  IOM Diaspora staff and the local and international consultant hired for drafting the curriculum on ToT on PCM and delivering the related training..

This training contributes to the capacity building of the relevant institutions working with Diaspora by providing them with tools that will allow them to develop initiatives and implement transnational development projects. This will enable them to grow in the diaspora engagement process that can have a positive social, cultural and economic impact in the development of Albania.

The training course is tailored based upon participants’ needs and professional profiles in order to ensure high productivity, effectiveness and transparency into practice.

The IOM Albania Diaspora Programme is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Albania, the UN Migration Agency, with funding from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in coordination with the Albanian State Minister for Diaspora, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy through Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA).
