Migration Governance Training of Trainers for Albanian Public Officials
Tirana – On June 14-16, 2021, IOM Mission in Albania conducted a Training of Trainers on migration governance in Albania for the staff of institutions that are engaged in the implementation of the National Migration Strategy.
This training is being held in the framework of the project "Strengthening Institutional Capacities for Migration Governance in Albania", funded by the IOM Development Fund, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA).
This three-day training aims to familiarize the participants with various aspects of migration governance as well as on best practices for the development of trainings and the most appropriate methodologies to train the staff of various public institutions.
The trainers will be certified as Trainers from ASPA and will conduct several pilot training at various institutions, in the framework of the project.
This holistic human rights and gender-sensitive migration governance training programme for government authorities is aimed to increase the capacity of the staff of institutions responsible for the implementation of the National Migration strategy (2019-2022) and its Action Plan.
