IOM Albania Diaspora Programme Supporting the National Strategy for Diaspora 2021-2025
As part of the support that IOM Albania, through the Diaspora Programme has provided for the development of "National Strategy for the Diaspora and Action Plan 2021-2025", today were presented 6 IOM experts who will support the Albanian Institution in the implementation of the strategy.
The selected experts will support the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice and Bank of Albania.
Part of the meeting was the State Minister for Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Majko, who stressed the importance of this expertise and support to implement the National Strategy for Diaspora 2021-2025. In the meeting participated the Deputy Ministers of the relevant institutions that will be assisted by IOM experts for the progress of this project.
This initiative part of the program “Engage the Albanian Diaspora to the Social and Economic Development of Albania, funded from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and operational involvement of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in Albania, in close coordination with the Albanian State Minister for Diaspora, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy.
