Geneva, November 2024 – Mirela Sula, IOM Albania’s National Goodwill Ambassador and a renowned diaspora entrepreneur, addressed the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Council in Geneva, delivering a powerful message on behalf of all IOM Goodwill Ambassadors.

“It was a heartfelt moment to reflect on the transformative power of migration and the challenges faced by millions of people worldwide – especially migrant women,” Sula shared after her impactful speech.

In her address, Mirela Sula presented a joint statement from IOM’s Goodwill Ambassadors, calling for peace, compassion, and urgent humanitarian action to address the global migration challenges. As an advocate for women’s rights, her mission to support, empower, and invest in migrant women is valuable and key to advancing gender equality and creating inclusive opportunities for all.

The International Organization for Migration's Goodwill Ambassador Programme and Celebrity Engagement aims to harness the influence and reach of prominent figures from various fields to promote and advocate for IOM - UN Migration’s mission. This initiative enhances our visibility, amplifies our message, and fosters collaboration at national, regional, and global levels.
